It is a high reactive resin based on isophthalic acid. The products using this resin exhibits good electrical and excellent thermal resistance.it also has high heat distortion temperature and good mechanical properties at elevated temperatures. It has good compatibility with low shrink and low-profile additive with a good surface finish.

SMC RESIN TOPAZ, 2300 AT NA
TOPAZ- 2300 AT NA is an Unsaturated Isophthalic Polyester Resin designed specifically for SMC applications. Unlike the general purpose Isophthalic Resin TOPAZ – 2300 possesses high reactivity, which allows high filler loading. The functionality in resin is adjusted to provide an optimum thickening behavior. The resin has a high SPI peak exotherm and low cure time that allows faster production rates.
The laminates made from TOPAZ – 2300 resin are expected to have the same superior corrosion resistance properties as from other unsaturated isophthalic polyester resins.
